D.Min. in Healing, Deliverance, & Spiritual Warfare  

Program Overview

The Doctor of Ministry in Healing, Deliverance, and Spiritual Warfare (DHDSW) program is designed to develop highly skilled Spiritual Healing Practitioners equipped to launch, lead, and grow inner‑healing ministries, deliverance ministries, pastoral counseling initiatives, and other forms of spiritual healing practice. Students gain both theological depth and practical ministry expertise, preparing them to serve individuals, churches, and communities with confidence and compassion.

Objectives and Outcomes

Graduates of the DHDSW program will:

  • Master the 5‑Point Action Research Methodology and apply it throughout the program as a core framework for assessment, ministry development, and practical application.
  • Launch or lead an inner‑healing, deliverance, or related spiritual healing ministry.
  • Be equipped to teach, mentor, and multiply future healing practitioners.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in biblical studies, theology, and spiritual principles that form the foundation of effective spiritual healing.
  • Produce a doctoral‑level Action Research Dissertation on an approved topic within the field of spiritual healing and deliverance.

If you are a leadership professional who is looking to progress into advance leadership levels, in a strategic management role, or an educational planning or development role, this is the best degree for you.

Learning outcomes are congruent with Christ’s Great Commandment, Commission and Dominion Mandate. Students shall demonstrate that they have achieved the goals or learning outcomes of the program by means of direct and indirect evidence of student learning.

These specific, learning outcomes will shape and inform the design of all courses, supervised ministry experiences, formation activities, and other instructional strategies to establish a coherent and integrated curriculum for the Doctor of Ministry in Healing, Deliverance, and Spiritual Warfare program.

  1. Committed, mature Christian leader.
  2. Agree to live a life that honors God and abide by scriptural guidelines outlined in the Bible
  3. Leadership experience (60% weight in admission): Minimum of five years in a senior leadership role at a local church/organization.
  4. Educational experience (40% weight in admission)
  5. Must have either a Christian MA/MS, or a WU Master of Apostolic Leadership and Applied Ministry degree.
  6. All non-Christian related MA degree holders are expected to complete WU Master program first.
  7. Two references (1 pastoral and 1 peer reference).

The total tuition for the Doctor of Ministry in Healing, Deliverance, and Spiritual Warfare is $10,000. 

The program length is 24 months. Students can choose the following payment method:

  1. Pay full tuition upfront
  2. Pay annually by splitting the payment into 2 payments, one per year
  3. Pay monthly, there will be an additional 3% processing fee if the payments is not set up automatically through a credit card or bank account. 

WU does not offer assistance through Federal Student Loan programs.

 

  1. Finish all required courses with 3.0 GPA or higher
  2. Attend at least 3 times Residential training
  3. Finish the dissertation and defending

Students will have rigorous guided online study in a cohort format. With advanced online learning system, a well-designed course structure, and a cohort mentor, WU students will gain valuable knowledge, discuss best practices and receive shift for their ministry and leadership development.

1 Dissertation paper – 19 units

Total units for graduation: 55

 

Residential Training

Students will participate in 3 required 4-day face-to-face sessions. Students will meet internationally well-known leaders, receive instruction and impartation for personal breakthrough and maximize their learning experience.
