WU is not accredited by a U.S. Department of Education Approved accrediting agency, as our program are primarily religious and theological in nature, preparing leaders for church and marketplace ministry.

WU is a member of ACEA (Academic Council for Educational Accountability). ACEA Schools Network is designed for adult Christian schools (ministry training schools, colleges, higher education schools). ACEA Schools exists to provide credibility through accountability. We provide a creative alternative to accrediting organizations and traditional accreditation. Our schools network provides a creative alternative to accreditation using relationship-based peer input to provide the accountability desired. We encourage accountability through providing an opportunity to build relationships with other like-minded educators and then providing a structure for schools to invite other members to conduct peer reviews.
