A quick look back at January’s 2019 Residential training.
Franson Hall on the William Carey International University campus was the location of this year’s residential. It provided a great backdrop for our powerhouse line up of amazing speakers.
First up was Simon Braker who with his great British wit, brought much liveliness while delivering a powerful word on the New Apostolic Reformation from a global perspective. Then, drawing from his years of experience, his second session, Growing in the Prophetic and Avoiding the Pitfalls was spot on!
On Friday we spent the first half of the day with Bill Hamon, known as the father of the modern day prophetic movement, who enlightened us with his deep knowledge of the prophetic and contrasting humor. Tapping into topics like the Current and Future Status of the Prophetic Movement and the need for Apostolic Parenting through Spiritual Fathers and Mothers, Bill both encouraged and challenged us.
That same night we were treated to great insight by Kris Vallotton, who gave us a glimpse into the inner workings of Bethel Church and their struggles and subsequent triumphs as well as his thoughts and experiences of societal transformation through the Five-Fold Governance and Seven Mountains Strategy.
Lastly, Saturday afternoon was spent with Patricia King followed by Ché Ahn. Patricia delved into Power Evangelism as well as on the subject of Apostolic Women Leaders Today. Closing our Residential sessions, our WU chancellor Ché Ahn who spoke on the Modern Day Apostolic Movement from a global scale.
While it was important for our students and staff to soak in the wisdom dispensed from these amazing leaders, the relationships, networks, and connections made between the students themselves were as equally valuable. We loved seeing our cohorts meet and spend time together, we loved hearing about how members of cohorts lift each other up and we, the staff loved spending time with you all.
Thank you for running with the Wagner family and we’ll see you again in August!
